I made it out to the Ridge for a quick ride Thursday and Friday afternoon. Taking a look at all the fire damage from last week has been interesting. The trails created perfect fire breaks and in most all cases the fire never crossed a trail. The city’s fire combating bulldozer work did a great deal more damage than the fire did. I would say by mid summer the fire damage will be unperceivable.
The BlackSheep has been down with minor BB issues this week but I haven’t had a spare second to fix it so I have ridden the Captain this week and had a blast on it. Two hours on Thursday and hour and a half on Friday, thanks to Tara and Noah for letting me slip out.
